Jeanette Walls - Interview on "The Glass Castle"

I am re-running one of my most popular interviews. Although the book is from 2006, it continues to sell very well! This excellent interview is enjoyable whether or not you have read the book.

My guest is Jeannette Walls, author of THE GLASS CASTLE. (Kindle Edition) She has written a startling memoir about hiding her past that is a critical and popular success. I am sure you will be interested in her very unusual story.

I met Jeannette in Texas at The Girlfriend Weekend. She is a gracious and lovely woman. She also writes the gossip column for MSNBC. This interview is dedicated to Kathy Patrick and all of The Pulpwood Queens!

  1. It has been said that what doesn't kill you makes you stronger. This maxim must be true, because the Walls kids often went for days without proper nourishment, clothing, and shelter. They had rootless childhoods, which made it impossible for them to form enduring friendships with their peers. Yet, they had fun, relied on one another, and made plans for the future. This book is a beautifully written and unforgettable testament to the strength and resilience of the human spirit.

  2. There is gore, there is swearing, there are serious issues and there is wanton murder, so if any of that floats your boat, then you should get yourself a copy of this superb film. Highly recommended.
