David Badacci hit #1 on the NYTBR bestseller list this week with THE SIXTH MAN, published by Grand Central. I interviewed Mr. Baldacci for the first time in November 2005 when he published THE CAMEL CLUB, the first entry in that popular series featuring oliver Stone and his cronies. He had no idea at the time that the series would become a hit.
I was impressed with Mr. Baldacci. He is a thoughtful writer; his success is well deserved. I continue to be impressed with his committment to our nation's food banks and the foundation he runs to promote literacy.
